About We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym in Downey, CA

Hello WRTS Family and Community. I would like to introduce ourselves. We are the owners of the We Rock the Spectrum for kids’ gym in Downey. My mother Elizabeth Salas and myself Evelyn Villarreal Salas. We are so excited to start this life changing journey. My Brother is the owner of WRTS in Long Beach, and has really inspired us to open our very own.

My mother has been married to my dad for 50 years. They have 4 kids and 12 grandkids. My mom is an energetic and loving person and always on the move. She is my Best Friend and always there for her kids when we need her.

I have been married for 19 years and I have a 16-year-old son who is a junior in high school and is in the varsity wrestling team. I also have 9-year-old Miracle Quadruplets! 2 girls and 2 boys, which could be a handful at times but wouldn’t have it any other way. My 2 girls are in a classroom setting school. My 2 boys are homeschooled for now; while they get evaluated and get their needed therapies. I have a Boy with Asperger, ADHD, Anxiety and SPD and another with Dyslexia and Anxiety. I also have a nephew (Godson) who was diagnosed with Autism when he was 21 months old and my niece was diagnosed with high function autism when she turned 5. We believe this gym will help them tremendously in their development as well as all the kids in our community.

We are very excited to be able to be part of this wonderful WRTS family and to be able to bring this gym to our community for all the kids and bring some joy in a place where kids on the spectrum can enjoy all the fun sensory equipment.
